I wanted to make a local difference with the SNAP shutdown, so I called a neighborhood church’s food pantry. (I’m happily unchurched.)

The art isn’t quantified. But the books (and I’ll finish the 200th tonight) and music were.
In all, after 2024 tried to kill me, 2025 wasn’t bad. (The US govt leaders mean it wasn’t good either.) I did rediscover joy. And that’s a win.

I was running errands and stopped - on a weekday- at my usual pedi place. (They only see me occasional weekends for 20 years).
I told the nail tech to pick my color - I usually bring my own neutral. She picked Christmas red. “Celebration” she said.

I got asked to speak at an industry conference.
When I told my boss, he said- I thought you were already doing that.
