My last day of work yesterday was once again emotional, as I knew I was leaving a good environment that took care of me for 4 years, allowing me to grow and learn. But most of all I was leaving technically prepared colleagues and ultimately good, caring people.

And now a new beginning. Here we go

I'm seeing loads of comments about how this week's down in #AWS us-east-1 shouldn't have impacted services in other regions. I've seen services entirely based in EU and AP stop/slow down responding at the same time, though.

I'm not well-versed enough to form an opinion, but I find it interesting.

Spent 20m at work today debugging a #flutter #test that was seemingly only failing on my machine, with the rest of the team ready to approve the PR, only to find out our UI actually had an issue and the test was by sheer luck trying to click the only unclickable area left in our widget 🤦🏻‍♂️

When I tried to pick up a new technology, I always went for the most thorough course I could find/for trying to read through the whole docs. And I always failed.

This time I'm switching things up. Starting with a 3h tutorial. Building a small project. Getting that achievement. Then we'll see.

First time putting two and two together after learning about my ADHD. The way I've never been able to pull off a personal project to save my life, while also being praised as a reliable "gets things done" person at work when things are neatly organized and visible.

It's nice to stumble upon little tidbits that make you smile, when you skim through docs for an unfamiliar framework to pick up syntax.

I recently became aware of Beacon APIs, and they're a small but powerful tool to have if you're trying to send analytics or do other one-way operations when your user is about to navigate away from your page!

Today was diving back into an Old project to dig up the login flow for an external authentication service we've be been trying to abandon but can't seem to get rid of, as against all forecasts we'll need to include it in a new project. FUn tIMeS!
