I had a big bugaboo about Aloy being staggered hard by bigger enemies, it feels like a full 3s where she struggles to stand up.
It's just unnecessary friction where you could have her slowed for 5s instead? Idk it was a weird pet peeve in Horizon FW.

One game this reminds me of is Starbound.
That game has some of the best, whimsical and ridiculous item descriptions that revealed more of the game's charm and personality.

Honestly the biggest failures I've seen in most recent indie games (over the past 10 years really) is many still cannot get lighting right.
It's a hard balance to strike between not enough light/just enough light, but so many just show black vs bright.
