Pa. Senate Republicans have advanced a two-year, $1.2 billion transportation plan to fund mass transit operations and repairs to rural roads.

The move likely means that the state’s budget impasse will continue, as Gov. Shapiro and House Majority Leader Matt Bradford both said they oppose the bill.
