These overlapping projects are straining our roads -- especially Auburn Way South, Mill Pond, Lea Hill, and Lakeland Hills. Our Police, Public Works, and Emergency Management teams are coordinating with WSDOT and regional partners to manage impacts, but congestion is unavoidable.

Stewart Road Bridge (Sumner): Overnight closures are planned Oct. 9–10 from 8 p.m.–6 a.m., which could affect morning commutes if you're headed north to Auburn. We’ve requested changes to lessen the impact.

SR 18: Weekend closures continue as WSDOT crews replace expansion joints on the C Street SW bridge. Expect eastbound closures Oct. 3–6 (Fri 9 p.m. – Mon 5 a.m.), including C Street SW ramps. Heavy delays are expected, especially on Lea Hill and East Hill.

SR 410: The White River Bridge remains fully closed. WSDOT had hoped to reopen one lane by late September, but that has not happened. Repairs are about one-third complete and could extend into November. A lengthy detour is in place. (Most recent update here: x.com/wsdot_traffi...)

SR 167: After bridge damage last week, repairs will take months, not weeks. Only one northbound lane is open for now. WSDOT is exploring a temporary fix that may allow one more lane to open. Expect ongoing heavy delays.
