It’s sad. Though a lot of all the previous disappeared stuff is in internet archive. I work with many still trying to access historical data and that’s the only place.

Same. Been here since 2003 and thought I knew a lot of oddities but this is new. And they bought up a lot of properties. Also sounds familiar

I'm from a pecan/pumpkin/shoofly family. Pumpkin was mostly there, shoofly sometimes there, pecan always there (or, the other version....derby pie with pecans rather than walnuts).

When BSA rebranded & let girls in, they did a subtle smear campaign against GSUSA. I argued then (and maintain) reasoning behind this was a) numbers b) wmn carrying the burden. Many den moms can't do GS and BS so this was an avenue for a mom to support all their kids in scouting w/less driving/time
