I recreated the fun cat animation in @figma.com. You see this little guy when hacking terminals, doorways, or other fixtures on Tau Ceti 4 in @marathonthegame.bungie.net by @bungie.net. I added my own twist by making it blink, giving the cat a little more life.

I think my wife explained it best when she said that it's as if you combined Destiny, Cyberpunk 2077, and The Division. And honestly, that sounds awesome! I love the aesthetic and hopefully I get a chance to play the Alpha because I'm curious how this game feels.

The next step was trying to add some personality to the components by introducing motion and animations to transition between different states and pages. This was early in the process and feedback would lead to many more changes in what the final version would look like.

I honestly feel like I spend more "dev" time debugging random errors and package version management than actually building things. (Especially when the problem I'm having isn't solved the way that it worked for others.) I just want to update my site! Why is web dev like this??

Here I was figuring out how the desktop and mobile layouts for a product page would maintain the same visual themes while remaining responsive. My primary focus was on making sure that the user wouldn't feel like they are scrolling forever while looking at a single product.

Rich Ongoing Notifications for Android could be extremely useful for a variety of apps and contexts. created some mockups of basic and custom example usages for things like Fitbit exercise activities, eclipse timer, presidential election tracker, live football game scores, and more.
