How far can a nucleosome “whisper” & still be heard? 🧬 Our preprint shows that histones & DNA communicate allosterically across distances up to 7.5 nm. To study this, we developed CONDACT (CONDitional ACTivity), an open-source Python library to quantify time-resolved kinetic correlations in the NCP.

Our work on structural & thermodynamic impact of oncogenic mutations on the NCP" is now published in BiophsicalJournal (doi.org/10.1016/j.bp...). With @sloverde.bsky.social, we showed mutations alter core hydrogen bond dynamics.
