Unfortunately we have to live in the real world. Other countries have tried wealth taxes without success. I would love to see redistribution of wealth particularly the multimillionaires but I haven’t yet heard a viable solution. We need growth which would benefit everyone.

The Tories destroyed the economy and it will take years to fix it. Pretending that the markets don’t matter will take us back to Truss and we can’t allow that to happen.

I would think very carefully before voting Green. They don’t understand how the economy works and are anti NATO. These should be red flags for any voter

Fewer than 50% of doctors voted for strike action. On this occasion the BMA are being cynical opportunists. Drs got far more than the rest of NHS workers last year. Paying them more will lead to avalanche of public sector strikes.

And so it goes on. You don’t seem to understand that the country was left in a terrible state and the Govt can’t wave a magic wand. Until we get productivity up we have no money. Stop the idealism, get behind the govt and help to get this country off its knees.

I have finally come to accept if we don’t discuss immigration and make a plan the right wing are going to prosper. It’s happening all over the world. We can’t change this by insisting people shouldn’t feel this way. They do, whether we like it or not.

I’m afraid that’s simply not true. They pay annually for their family not at point of use, just like Europeans, Americans. and others - it’s a complete non story. Don’t embarrass yourself.

Same as we have with USA & Europe. They pay a surcharge to use NHS. Why should they have to pay twice just because they are Indian?
