We also have to mobilize. More people have to knock on doors and persuade people and get them to vote. More people chose not to vote than voted for either candidate. We need to remind them how powerful their vote is.

So here's a thought. While the federal govt is shut down, perhaps these big, profitable airports could cover the salaries of the air traffic controllers and TSA until the govt reopens. That's an option.

That was the thing that bothered me about the hearing. I wish one Senator would have reminded her that there are 3 equal branches of govt, and that Congress has oversight authority over her and her dept. That hearing wasn't an inconvenience. It's the law. And it's her job to enforce the law.

They do not believe there are consequences whether or not that means she thinks there will be no transfer of power or because she was promised a pardon. This is why impeachment of both Trump and Vance will be critical, so they can't pardon any of them.

Clinton acknowledged that there were gay people in the military and decided not to punish them for being who they are. Gay people exist, always have, always will.
