At dinner, my friend asked me what I was going to do about Monday. I hadn’t given it much thought, other than not watching. I have decided to treat it like a day of mourning. I own a full array of black clothing, so I’m all set.
The death of democracy deserves a proper mourning.

I am not a huge fan of poultry, so I try to find unique ways to use the leftovers. Today I made these, to use for tortillas or fajitas. I like the slightly charred, crisp meat.
