I also just joined threads and am learning a lot about how the platform differs from X. But beyond being created by Twitter’s original founder, what makes this platform special, different, and valuable?

It’s very difficult to keep up with all the social platforms. I guess I joined this platform for more meaningful connection & less fluff. While I’m still on X, I find the algorithm to be filled with junk like celebrity gossip & political mayhem. As an artist, I cannot cloud my mind with nonsense.
