It has been a long time since I last posted. The garden requires an overhaul, the house needs a thorough cleaning, and I have two new kittens who will be 9 months old on January 10—finished two needlepoint Christmas stockings—working on a 3rd. And now running out of letter count. Happy New Year

This is the second wheel class session. Centering is better, and bottom depth is better. Raising the walls of a cylinder is not so good. I'm looking for suggestions for YouTube videos. Hand building is getting better, but attachments like handles are definitely a work in progress.

I decided last Monday to start a beginner wheel-throwing class for ceramics. I admit that centering the clay is not easy, and I have a wheel rash on my left little finger below the metacarpus and the carpus. This occurred while centering the clay and coning. This is a regular issue.

The arbor is being placed today. Three large plastic pots will be removed, and water will be dumped from my rose bush. I am beginning to plant the tomatoes, bell peppers, mint, and hellebore. Oh, I forgot the new Star Jasmine. I have wheat bread in the breadmaker and cross-stitch to do.

I just made six half-pint jars of Tangelo Marmalade. Labels have been printed. Next on the to-do list is to make more Tangelo curd and tart cherry scones. A sourdough starter is also in the works.

Pictures of 3 of my new ceramic hand-building. I will send them to Bisque as soon as they are completely dry. Thinking about the glaze to be used on both. Next post expresso cups and saucers. Some days, I am more productive than others.

I am grateful that the front and backyard gardens do not need a total redo. Tangelo curd was made, and I am just waiting to start the Tangelo marmalade.
