I draw things sometimes...I post some of them here in exchange for dopamine ✨️

Digital refugee learning traditional - might hybridize, we'll see 😁

She/Her
I say this as a means of "you're insane and I respect the absolute heck out of it" hahaha

Literally sketching as we speak, and the prospect of doing it straight to ink is horrifying as it stands 😂 many many years of digital have somewhat crippled my confidence to the point I draw something about 12 times before it's "final" 🥲 (got it down to 3 today haha)

(ponownie przepraszam, automatyczne tłumaczenie lol) To znaczy, całkiem uczciwie, zasługujesz na przynajmniej jedną wadę w życiu, w przeciwnym razie jaki byłby sens haha

Ok I was very tempted by the offer but you absolutely sealed the deal with Single-Layer Player 😂😂😂

Nah but for real, I'm always down to get dirty (it's normal for graphite to completely smudge up your fingers, right? 🤭)

Added to my shopping list ☺️ ✨️ Thanks for the recommendation!

(przepraszam, tłumaczenie Google) - Ale tak, zależność to prawdziwy problem! Może wszyscy powinniśmy trochę ograniczyć :)
January 24, 2026 at 8:54 PM
Haha, relatable. I remember in my final report from my teacher they bluntly said I had "no natural ability, tries hard, but fails" which, kinda sucked as a kid😅

From the looks of it, your gf (at the time) taught you well! 😁

Why thank you kindly 🙂

Oh lawdy, I mean, I think you have a point haha - the irony is I studied 'General art' back in school which did cover *everything* traditional had to offer but...clearly I did not pay attention hahaha - but nah, speaking as a guilty 'digital artist' I will say, trad deserves *way* more love.

Thank you! 😊 appreciated!

D'aw, thank you!

Thank you ^^

My sources tell me they're less menacing if you use A4 instead of A5.

My bad. I apologise to pencil gradients everywhere 😂
January 23, 2026 at 6:50 PM
Late response but just now realised I bought a box of Ohuhus last week 😂 tried dabbling with them earlier, just can't seem to get on with them, but you were bloody right about the colours not matching hahaha
January 23, 2026 at 4:36 PM
I mean honestly there's a tiny part of me that's thinking FOR NOW scan in the sketches and colour them digitally but thats a cop out and we all know it 😂
January 22, 2026 at 8:31 PM
Yeah I've heard so much about copics but sheeesh, pricey little so and so's, figured id wait till my skills justify the expense haha
January 22, 2026 at 8:29 PM
I got a few alcohol markers (cant remember which) and I had mixed results with...consistency? Made me consider pencils but I dunno haha, dont want to blow the budget on things I won't use 🥲 hence the question haha
January 22, 2026 at 8:28 PM
If I can get these in the UK definitely looks interesting on my brief cursory looksie 😁 genuinely thank you 😊
January 22, 2026 at 8:04 PM
Mediums, traditional I've not touched since my art exams 17 years ago (which I failed🤣) But digital, usually airbrushed a bit and then inked in cel shading (example on my profile/profile picture) I'm pretty cautious until confident, so whatever is least likely to...one woopsie dooming the thing 😅
January 22, 2026 at 8:03 PM
Oh wow thats some good recs haha, will have to digest/look at it fully when I'm home (at midnight 🥲) but I've heard of a few of those (proud 😂)

Gosh darn character limits argh
January 22, 2026 at 8:00 PM
That's a good shout, my adhd brain usually just goes *ooo, inspired!* and then just jumps in haha. Wasn't so bad with the digital side since...layers 🙃 but yeah, it's a good idea to warmup, and it helps with fundamental shapes ✨️

Soon as I finish work I'll try it out haha, thank you!
January 22, 2026 at 7:47 PM
Haha it's all good (at work so also a bit in and out) but briefly, any recommendations for entry level tools for inking, like which fineliners or what not, also any recs on a beginner medium for colour? I sorely miss clip studio having magic buttons for all of the above 😂 *sobs in missing G-pen*
