Trump has already made a deal with Putin which is basically for Ukraine to surrender. For Trump to make a deal with Zelensky would backstab Putin. This exchange proves who's side Trump is really on. Bottom line, US has abandoned Ukraine sovereignty. Hopefully Zelensky can lean on Europe to help.
