I actually think Colin Davis (or more likely ChatGPT) puts it pretty well in his blog here. It's "nothing but AI-remixed leftovers." Same as it ever was.

This kind of fence sitting, astrotrufing for AI while saying you value human creativity, is antithetical to art. It's devaluing creatives and creators, and it's providing more ammunition and evidence for big tech to prop up the economically disastrous AI bubble.

It's great to claim that you specifically might not want to cut costs. Do you think that'll stop big tech? To include the idea that today's generative AI models are based on uncompensated art implies that those running the models have any intent on changing that. Spoiler alert, they do not.
