I maintain the mask alone is what keeps him a going concern.

Then, I reviewed X-Men Unlimited #15 which, despite featuring an entirely different creative team, effectively functions like a 'soft open' to Maverick's later solo series.

I'm ready to not type "Maverick" for awhile. 😆
