Yikes! Have you tried photo editing it? Sometimes turning it black and white, increasing contrast etc can help a bit.

That’s fantastic! I started transcribing my Gran’s travel diary a few years ago. Her handwriting was atrocious! I had learned to read it from all the letters we exchanged but I got stumped on the name of an obscure french castle! Had to use my reference librarian detective skills to figure it out 😂
