Facing the realities of what occured, whilst also being broadly supportive of Obama and wishing he was still around, does not make me a Russian asset. Just because there was protest and recriminations at the time, doesn't mean it was OK.

Agree with this.

I didn't. Check the thread again.

I'm responding to the question asked.

41 civilians celebrating a wedding killed by drone strikes constitutes a war crime (and that is just the tip of the iceberg). These are just facts.

Agree, I just wish I liked their music. But I don't. Ah well.

I am also in my 50s and I totally disagree. I like things in boxes. I own them, no one can take them off me.

See also music and film.

Guy Richie has done Young Sherlock, it's in the can. My son worked on it, he finished about a year ago.

I was at Anfield for the Newcastle game. Felt like they'd really turned a corner. And when they were kissing for so long, I thought, yes, this is it. And then it all went to shit.

Bombed villages with drones.

I have to be honest, I'm not sure this is a credible report.

Series 1 is fantastic but Series 2 is a hell of a let down, sadly.

When I was a kid living in London (around the age of 10), I remember being fascinated by the movie posters that were printed in the back of the Evening Standard. Come Play With Me (X) was always there, promising so much...

I'm sure you're right but he might try. And I see that they're now trying to stop college ID being for voting identification.

Ugh. I hated the Eighties.

Dear god. He wants to provoke violence in a blue state so he can surprise voting, doesn't he?

Just finished season 4 of Stranger Things and Master of Puppets brought a year to my eye.

That was my punk rock, my Beatles, my Bob Dylan. It was everything. For it to be cool, even for 5 minutes, made this 53 year old man very happy and a little bit sad.
February 7, 2026 at 8:05 PM
Ah. I do hope not.

Next for what?

Little boxes on screen during breaks in play, fine. Going to an ad during a scrum set up, not fine. At all.

8 doesn't need a remake.

Exactly, it was public knowledge. I thought it was a bad appointment, but Trump likes Mandy, so it was tactical.

My hot take - I'd make an exception for Angela Rayner, who's "scandal" was not a scandal at all.
