Not disagreeing with the premise but how much of this shift can be explained by tiktok going from a somewhat new app, with with a user base made up of more left-leaning demographics 2020, to an app with demographics much more similar to the general population in 2024?

Certainly needs more regulation, regular check-ins & more structured socialization. However, it (and independent schooling) should not be banned as many are saying. Public school can be such a brutal and alienating environment for so many kids and to literally force them to go thru that seems wrong.

I adored this movie from the moment I saw it in 2014. I remember being very confused by the criticism for it at the time. Now it seems to be near universally loved, and the fact that it released to a lot of raised eyebrows seems to be mostly forgotten.
