Veterinarians & researchers interested in presenting their work at the 2026 AVA Conference have until 22 October to submit their abstracts.

Abstracts can be recent research, clinical projects, or a case report covering vet science.

Did you know the mean peri-parturient mortality of non-merino ewes in Sth Aust was 2.5% in yr 1 & 2.0% in yr 2, the most common cause of mortality being dystocia?

Veterinarians are now recognised alongside other health professionals in the ANZSCO (aka OSCA) classification system!

This is a win for the profession & is expected to improve data, modelling & support future access to govt funding & policy decisions.
