Aspiring - Father, Husband, Friend, Runner, Leatherworker, Cactus enthusiast, ASL interpreter, and hopefully...a good person.
Were Mr Rogers alive today he would absolutely be filming an episode sharing a restroom with a Trans person.

Utah wants its own version of DOGE.
Again trying to pare back government as much as functionally possible.
But I have a crazy-ass idea...
Why don't we try doing MORE.

Your kids get a max of two toys and then grow up to work in the same factory as their father and grandfather screwing in tiny screws. It’s called The American Dream.

They are just touring Tesla dealerships!
It’s not like someone took a dump in the center or like, beat police officers with American flags.
Relax Donnie.

I want you all to sit with this post for one second. It was made 2 hours ago.
Just sit with it.
Ask yourself the hard questions.
Think of your loved ones.
Think of your neighbors.
Ask yourself if this applies to them.
Is there a line, a Rubicon, across which you will not support stepping

We need an Alt leadership summit.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ben Wikler, Jasmin Crockett, Pete Buttigiege, Gavin Newsom etc... are our way out of this.
For the love of country, get together in some dusty bar or coffee shop or hotel and fucking game this out.
I want a damn Shadow Council.

Can we get some
"I did that" (☞゚ヮ゚)☞🥚$$$!
Stickers with Trump on them? I wanna slap them on the eggs at my local grocery store just like the Biden gas stickers, because that's the mood.

Listened to Grapevine Fires by Death Cab for Cutie today.
Felt terribly appropriate for the day, month, year, and, I suspect the next decade.

It ain’t rocket science folks.
Y’all couldn’t vote for a black woman, so you voted for someone you know is a liar and a cheat. Freakin’ EVERYONE in NYC knows that.
And you did it anyway.
Here’s your payback union folks. Shot yourselves in the foot.
That’s all on you folks.

This moment is a dream-like point in time. We are standing on a beach and watching the ocean rapidly receding, all too aware of what is likely to hit us. But in turning around to look at our fellow beach goers, there is no panic, no recognition of the imminent calamity.
It feels helpless.

Another, more proximate inflection point where the Dems failed the working class, was the lapse of the boosted child tax credit.
It was meaningful for the the proletariat, and dropping it under a Democratic administration is all the impetus that a low info voter needs to vote 'the other guy'.

Being a part of not one, but two social media mass migrations in my lifetime is something I'm sure my grandkids will love to hear about as they sit around my rocking chair.

Here's a hot take:
You know a big inflection point where the Democratic party bungled the working class? NAFTA
In rural Utah I guarantee I would start up a convo with any farmer and they would still have a stick in their craw about it.
These things leave cultural scars that have yet to be addressed

With US House margins being what they are and our desperate need for some good news, I remind everyone that the Utah Supreme Court rebuffed the legislature here and will force a congressional map redraw.
Meaning there's a high probability of Dems picking up a seat in Utah @ midterm elections #utpol

It strikes me that the media has never stopped performing the exact same job that editors performed on The Apprentice regarding Donald Trump.
Desperate to make a buck, they cut and clipped and cobbled together his interactions in order to make him make sense.
It's the same damn job.
