No, our parks days were the Monday-Friday after that.

We went in early December this year and compared to the same week in 2018, it was pretty nuts.

Wait...when are they most crowded now? In recent years, we've mostly gone in June.

Logically, I know that no one has a completely easy life. But I see these pictures and videos and just think "dang, do they know how easy they have it??" (I'm sure some people see my stuff and think the same thing. But again, I didn't say what I'm feeling is logical here.)

I only saw this for the first time a few years ago. Now I have to watch it every Christmas! It's so great.

I mean, a mild cough or something...sure. I tend to have that year-round. But flu? Covid? Vomiting? Fever? Feeling miserable? Nope. Staying home.

First world problem, I know. But still. Just something I'm thinking about today. I guess we'll just have to figure it all out if any of us are too sick to travel. We will NOT be those people bringing a known illness onto an airplane and into Disneyland though.

When I get respiratory viruses, they tend to last a month or more. So....if i get something the week before a trip, I'll be totally screwed. I'm pretty sure we can get some kind of refund on our plane tickets if we're sick. But we'd likely lose our DVC points.

I did get my flu shot last month. I haven't gotten the new covid shot because I actually had covid in September. They recommend waiting 3 months....which falls exactly during my vacation. So I won't be updating that until I get home. Just keeping my fingers crossed for the next month!
