Realized that a character referenced in The Paradox Legion dedication has been paradoxed out of existence (TTRPGs be like that) so I may change the dedication. I just think it would be funny to have an error message related to paradox activity and then just a slightly different dedication.

One fun part of including in universe scripture passages in my books is I get to write fantasy scriptures and it gets to be the purplest prose ever and my readers eat it up.

Sometimes I transform from a normal human into an advertisement because someone asks me about my books. They always look a bit startled as I pitch the book and they realize how much I have practiced that. Sorry if I made things weird but convincing people to read it is part of my job.

Watching "Out of my mind" and tearing up not ten minutes in. It's the way her word board doesn't have everything she wants to say and she still finds a way to say it to those who will listen. It's the way her dad tries to convince teachers that his daughter is capable of thinking and learning.

How do you combat power creep and keep the stakes real?
Simple. Give them problems that are completely unsolvable using the power they have. The stronger they get magically, politically, etc. The more their personal life falls apart.
(This is only one method but it is one I enjoy greatly.)

Just saw Wicked for the third time this week. Went once by myself in a mostly empty theater at 9am on Monday, then again with my four adult siblings, and today with my husband and five year old. It was amazing every time.
