It's been busy for me. I have been designing and writing and gathering plants to plant, lol. The weather has been super cold and not spring like. Today it's 86. Tomorrow maybe 72. Phew. Lots on the pallette.

I am awaiting the latest decision from the BVA; after its CVAC Remand. One issue came back favorably, the other not so much. My guess is I will head back to the CVAC if I can find any representation or go pro se. Who knows. I already have an argument drafted in my head, but I need to see the doc

The weather has gone on tangents from winter to spring, and summer and back into the caves of cold days and nights. Yikes. Where's is Mother Nature hiding out? The sunflowers won't be planted in this chill that's for sure, or anything like my other plants. Some of my Rhubarb is doing well though.

Two poems were completed, one, actually both were newer ideas; but with the loss of the Pope, a note about him was included in my second piece. I feel strongly about all of us being one voice and not divisive no matter if there's a difference of opinion.

Trying to figure out some story stuff as well as poetic verse. I need to submit to Westland Writes 2025 but I have nothing on the submission list at this moment.

Wrote some more Haiku in a writing notebook my mother sent for my birthday. Lots of purple, including on the pen. Amethyst is the best. Anyway, I think there will be weather related horror stories on the horizon, or at least in Haiku.

I loved Nano and frankly if one has to post hate on here towards me not sure I want to stay. I leave my posts open and have done that previously but frankly to attack me for something I had nothing to do with is sick. I had nothing to do with the psychos who harmed others on the website. UGH.

I inspired some new writers today at my Writer's Workshop. The timed writing assignment is always a hit. Feedback on my program was 100 percent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Writing and writer's handouts, etc. Wicked storms have been visiting this week and we'd like to have a nice Spring day.

If I was a billionaire I would try to effect change as I would have enough money to do it and help others along the way. I would also share my money with those who were being harmed. Unfortunately myself and others are targeted by this unconstitutional administration. We paid for what we have.

Today is Vietnam Veteran War Remembrance Day, March 29th 2025, 50th Anniversary and recognition of all who served during the Vietnam War which was also known as a Vietnam Conflict which began November 1955 when my father was serving as an Era Veteran, and didn't know until last week.

I have written a bunch of Haiku, I've worked on my one writer's workshop program with handouts and more to do. I probably give my students a few months worth of work to 'encourage them to write. The Professor in me stays; and that's okay as they get more than they expect, but it's all good.

It's been a minute since I have posted. The whirlwind chaos that is engulfing this country is mind numbing. I need to write more about that at some point but have had other items on the agenda. I keep thinking about reading 1984 and how chilling that book was in my AP English class. The terror..

Snow on March 7th is ridiculous. It even stuck to the ground; and the zig zag temperatures is making us all sick. One day it was in the 50's then plummeting to 20. Yea, that's a no go. Anyway we may have a warm highlight of 50 degrees for a few hours on Monday? LOL. #wintersucks

The oratorical Speech Contest where I was the Head Judge. Great expectations were excelled by the contestants on 2 22 25.

This weather is atrocious. Come on, it's too cold. I'm sick of this and I don't feel great either. UGH. It's MARCH for goodness sakes. I did write some Haiku about this ARCTIC mess, but am tired of it. I haven't even tried to find a living root of a perennial as there's been no chance yet.

I was able to get the printer working with the help of Gerry. I could spend a year printing out my writing, past manuscripts in cyber space and still not be done with all the writing I have done. Anyway, at least I can start creating and designing my newest Camp Nanowrimo Writers Workshop.

I collected my Veteran's Banner today and was glad that it was in good shape after hanging up on Main Street for a couple of months. As I was holding it to take a couple of photos this one young lady saw it and came over to thank me for my service. I thought that was very nice. I appreciated it.

Friday. The end of February. I need to get more writing done. Also publish some books this year, maybe some articles. I have handouts still to design for an upcoming program. At this point I am not going to any author fairs. I had hoped to do that but it didn't work out.

So much to do. Not enough time to do it. Hoping the weather breaks this week, as it needs to. It's been brutally cold here for so long and unseasonably cold for this part of the country where I am at. Sick of it. Tired of it. Perhaps more dreary haiku to write or poetry in general. Cheers.

Well I did it. I became a Judge for the American Legion's Oratorical Speech Contest on 2 22 25. As a Department of Michigan Member and American Legion Post 282 member, we had the Zone competition. It is not easy to be a Judge. I was appointed the Head Judge too. Excellent orations.

Snow is past it's due date, lol. We don't need it or want it , nor the frigid weather that's almost here. UGH.
February 16, 2025 at 8:47 PM
Wrote some Haiku.
