I can’t consider the U.S. an ally any more. They have shown themselves to be unreliable at best, and more likely to be belligerent bad actors in dealing with with their (former) friends. They can no longer be trusted.

I’m fairly sure that Carney knows that the pipeline has been set up to never happen. He’s drawing flack, but Smith will never see the new pipeline go forward. There are too many obstacles in its way. (I hope I’m right about this).
