Thank you! Please keep up the good work! The level of cowardice to say what need to be said in the media right now is astonishing. It is encouraging that voices like yours are still out there speaking truth to power.

Also… maybe… all of that shady shit was, you know, intentional. Because the people she owes favors to demand it?

We exist, but you don’t know it because… we’re not on social media. 🤪

Seriously, though. As an indie author with a few books finished now, I have been seriously questioning the efficacy of spending so much energy shouting into the void. Those of you that manage it have my respect.

This is the beauty of fantasy. We can envision the world as we hope it could be and perhaps inspire readers to act upon that vison in the real world. Be kind. Be aware. Be safe. Wishing all those protesting today the best. Those of us that can’t march still support you.

The worlds I build and the stories I tell reflect my values. There is strife and bigotry, but it is a problem to be solved not glorified. Gay and Lesbian people are allowed to just exist and not have to be defined by labels. Violence is the final resort, not the first option.

I feel the same way about Google docs. I used it to witite most of my last novel on my phone. But they are the forefront of companies stealing to feed AI. I am using an app called Ellipsus now. It free, anti-AI, and has many of the formatting features that made using GDocs good for me.
