From my satirical sci-fi series, I want people to have reminders of modern social values. It's on purpose these are light "feel-good" stories. For example, the first story reminds readers that progress is good, but we must never forget what makes humanity a unique race-its foibles. #PretendPanel

I write to escape, but who I am follows me, so my traumas find their way in. Reality is always sprinkled a bit in. So yeah, my female protagonist in most recent romantasy has an overbearing father and a guilt complex from a scarring incident. And yeah, I know why she does. 😅 #pretendpanel
