We have 12 bookcases in our house, all of them packed to the gills 😅 My whole family reads incessantly. Flooding & fire are our worst nightmares. But 3/4 of us also have e-readers.

My husband saw it as a kid and really loved it (though I am not sure he should have been watching it at age 9 🤨) so I plan to watch it eventually!

Glanced at my usually-flatlined Kindle Unlimited page reads and about passed out. Over the past couple weeks almost 1,000 pages have been read- almost all of it my Victorian vampire novella, Monstrous Creatures.

Is there a book club reading it? Whatever is happening, I'm grateful!

I just finished the first book, that's why I wanted to rate it higher on Goodreads, but they only have a 5-star rating system 😄

I will probably get to the other books too, but I have to recover first!

I don't know if it's like this everywhere now (we noticed it as soon as we moved to AL), but the lack of communication from businesses, events & jobs here is truly stunning. Good luck getting a call or email back from...anyone, ever.

Even just taking the 4 of us out to eat at any restaurant will cost us between $60-$100, no way do I want to add delivery fees to that! We eat out once a month or so, maybe twice.

I started playing Stardew Valley but I didn't realize they make you name your farm, so I panicked and called it Pine Brook, which sounds like the name of a mental institution. 😅

I was in the shower thinking about movies we saw this year, then about my love for Jurassic Park, then about how as a kid my mom gave me her old recipe card tin & every time I learned about a new dinosaur I'd write facts about it on a card & file it alphabetically in the tin. 1/
