Last night I visited my nieces and nephews. My 3 year old nephew wanted me to put him to bed which means I lay down next to his bed. While I was laying down with my nephew his older brother put every single pair of shoes in the house on me 😭

My niece had her first birthday party on Sunday and she ate cake for the first time and as one year olds do she was eating very messily. Her older brother (three years old) hates messes and he said. “Yucky she’s a mess!” 😂

Yesterday was niece’s first birthday! (Not my niece that I talked about before) here’s the birthday girl!

Sometimes my nephew will ask to FaceTime me on my brother’s phone so we can watch YouTube videos on his tablet and he will give his commentary. Like this morning my nephew and I were watching a video with super heroes and he told me which one was which. “That’s Spider Man!” “That’s the Joker!”

I have a collection of squishes and when my niece was at my house last weekend she saw a dumpling squish and asked. “Does it have snow in it?” An innocent question I thought so I answered. “No it has foam.” This child pulled on my squishy trying to open it! I stopped her but toddlers are so chaotic!

Last week my grandma brought a couple Christmas presents she forgot to give my niece to my house. My niece opened a present some bath toy cups and she said. “I hope the next present is better.” Then she opened her next present a toy camera and she said. “Oh yea this is way better!”

My niece stayed at my house for the weekend. Yesterday she wanted a blanket so my mom gave her a weighted blanket. My niece said she wanted to live under that blanket. I’ve never related to someone more.

This is my first post. As my name would suggest I’m an auntie with autism so my posts will consist of stories about my nephews and nieces and the things I like. I hope to have fun here.
