It’s at best an equivocation and at worst a distraction/defense. What Nuzzi did was vile, she should be scrubbed from the journalistic profession FOREVER,which is the most important point and one which is entirely disregarded by this “improper recording” BS & way too many journos want to defend her

She’s blocked me, which- whatever. My interest in this is that my mom was a phenomenal reporter who fought her whole career against the stereotypes that Nuzzi just cemented in the American consciousness and I despise her for it. Lizza is awful too but mostly in a way that all access journalists are

Probably - but only on this thread specifically- where I’m just devalued by most of these people as “white male” expressing a difference of opinion to a female. Everywhere else, 99.9% of the discourse entirely agrees with me and is nauseated by the defense/what-about in favor of Nuzzi.
