My daughter and I flew home from the UK last week. Giant airbus was more than half empty. I don’t think anyone wants to come to the US right now.

They are hiring losers. They have criminal records, they are failing drug tests and being hired anyway. There are no physical standards (one accepted “recruit” weighs 460 lbs). Some are functionally illiterate. They would never be accepted to any real police academy.

Yes, we know. Save the self righteous lecture. This is happening today and it’s wrong. It’s easy to counter every single injustice with “but this happened” and acting like nobody has any right to care because other bad things happened. Not even sure what the point is.

I am old, but I have daughters and granddaughters. Young women seem not to realize the threat that the GOP is to them. It needs to be a real issue because there is no way these young women are going back to having 8 babies with an abusive husband.
