Anyway, I'll stop rambling about it ha, but if you already own Skyrim at least Enderal is free to try. I don't think it's everyone's cup of tea, but it's in my top 5 favorite games and I think it's really impressive that it was a passion project instead of a commercial one.

The main companions develop a lot over the course of the story and there's an approval system. There are also some long side quests with different companions, and although those don't have romances, their relationships with the protagonist can be quite interesting.

I almost stopped playing it after the intro because it didn't grab me right away, but once I got to the main city I totally fell in love with the game. It has a couple of romance options too, although just one of each gender.

It's much more story focused than Skyrim. I love it so much that I'm really biased toward recommending it, but I'll warn that it's fairly dark and edgy (more like DAO than Skyrim), and can be depressing sometimes. It starts a little slow but the story gets pretty intense as it goes on.
