7 mile walk today, kinda just exploring the roads. Saw 4 deer, but only caught a photo of this guy. Managed my goal, to find the Butt! I was gonna touch it, but it was too high lol.

Hair band broke right before lunch on Friday, didn't have any spares. Remembered a trick I saw, and after 4 failed attempts ended up with this... the perfect pencil bun. I will never be able to recreate this. It looks great.

Baby robins got HUGE in the last 4 days! Saturday I could barely see their beaks on the nest top.

It's fuckin wimdy! Struggled a bit on the last leg home due to wind pushing the car so hard. Came home to a motorist taking (offered) shelter because it kept pushing her off the road. Trashcan almost escaped again.

Mom bird built one deep nest. But we do have babies in there! Must have just hatched, pretty sure they weren't there last weekend.

Spent today getting plants and getting the garden up. The various tomatoes, peppers, pumpkin, and cucumbers are all set. Tomorrow is both established and seed corn, to prep for a corn/bean/pumpkin three sisters area.
