we played an ios game as a kid called Arctopia that was based on Fire 'n Ice, though it's lost now sadly. the gameplan is to get valve to revive it somehow

not gonna spoil anything but we don't think the text is very interested in personhood per se, it makes its point clearer towards the end

(that last part makes picking up new games harder since the muscle memory hasn't been developed)

the part of our brain imagining a scene in a book or focusing on a movie is tied up/tired from daydreaming but motor skills aren't and are free to play games we're familiar with

same, we're still struggling to read books and watch movies even when we want to
