It took me a long time to realize I'm trans, because I didn't feel like I had dysphoria.
Turns out dysphoria was as pervasive as the air I breathe, and could only be noticed in its absence.

This has been a wonderful, delightful read, hitting me at perhaps just the right time. I wish I could send it back in time to myself five or ten years ago. Maybe I wouldn't have the perspective to properly appreciate it, but I think chapter 19 would have completely exploded my egg even then.
