I go by Vandy, I’m a hobbyist illustrator with a particular enjoyment of drawing monsters and all sorts of manner of creatures. I am currently collaborating on a series of children’s books called ADVENTURE ACE. I also love to make my own original characters and other cartoonish nonsense.

Funny enough I don't think I ever actually owned any of them, at least not that I recall! But I always enjoyed checking them out at the library or just whenever they were available in school.

Taking the night off from streaming! Figure since I did on Monday I could stand a bit of a break, will probably use the time to check out some stuff to play. I want to do a horror game and have been checking out the different Amnesia custom stories so I'm hoping to start one of those.

I need to finish up the Yokai Monsters trilogy sometime this month. I really enjoyed 100 Monsters but Spook Warfare despite its fun name and concept just felt like a mean spirited mess that wasn’t much fun to watch it to where it kind of took me out of it.

Need to see how the trilogy ends

Also yes I am in the “Clifford the Big Red Dog is a kaiju” camp and I’d even consider the Jolly Green Giant one considering he’s a giant plant man.

In regards to American kaiju I will always consider Babe the Blue Ox one. Besides the abnormal size the fact it’s a blue ox, something you don’t see in nature, qualifies him as a “strange creature” in my eyes.

I think the biggest eye opener was just how much of a difference there is between cons that are run by passionate people who actually care about a community and supporting creatives as opposed to ones that are clearly meant to just make money exploiting nostalgia.
