I agree 💯 Without publicity there is no major motor sports. Ticket sales don't build those cars. I hadn't heard Ben say that though.

Mario a former WDC, Michael a former driver in F1. Michael has done a ton for Indycar particularly the ladder series. He had the resources and name but F1 didn't want him. He leaves the team that's been his life and poof, an 11th team. Smells of weird politics that I don't get

Yes F1 for sure has its dominance cycles. I think the wind tunnel time reduction and spending cap are doing something similar to NFL draft / salary cap rules. It seems to be bringing in some parity. You'll always have the Browns / Saubers but it brings more teams toward the top. Or so I hope

I know I have less enthusiasm about the team without the Andretti name. If they get a charismatic US driver, I might root for them. But the whole thing has a bit of a stench to it at this point.
