TIL that thing where you draw just some of the texture / line of a surface and the brain fills in the rest is related to something called Gestalt principles, and it's that thing i've been looking for the whole time!
(I want to learn it so i can be lazy and draw less HAHAHA)

Halloween is just around the corner, and I'm wondering how do people come with monster designs... not just monster designs, horror monster designs!
In the end, it probably has a similar methodology as most designs... A creature base, a theme, shape language, and some words to describe it, hmm...
