I was at a botanical garden and there was a rattlesnake laying across the sidewalk. It was the only path out of that part of the park.

I walked in front of it, as far away but still on the sidewalk as possible, and my spouse and a few other people followed me.

The snake didn’t even react 😅

I’m very grateful I got my diagnosis. Just that there’s 4 decades of a life that I’m looking at through a different lens…which is a lot.

For now, I’m trying to be kinder to myself, reach out for support, and better embrace some of my quirks.
