It's fun if done well; similarly, I love when an author takes the time to do in-depth research so that a character can casually but accurately conduct a convo or activity. No exposition; just "getting it right."

See, now, all I see there is a news aggregator that's finally gathering the news I want to read - accurate reporting, reality-based representations, and insightful analysis.
