Exactly how it was for me. Definitely the best way to discover dragons. They shouldn't even appear until you've done this imo. Probably the best moment in the game, followed closely by the time I noticed that the top of Satori Mountain seemed to be glowing a strange blue and decided to investigate.

This describes basically every media outlet in the Western world.

The room transition at the end of that fight is one of the best moments in the whole game. The primitive graphics technology is so much more effective than it has any right to be.

I enjoyed reading through that way too much.
