The final ballots have trended much more conservative in the past... we're in that range. I'm keeping my hopes low until we see it tomorrow

Here is the main reason I’d be a bit wary of calling the Seattle mayor’s race just yet.
In the 2017 race (Durkan v Moon), Durkan’s numbers got steadily worse, except for a sudden and brief reversal when there were about 7,000 votes left to count.

I swear to god our region will do anything to avoid solving the housing crisis. This is 900 homes. It's nothing. And even this is fought over.
