“Homicide” was the mid-90s, thankfully. I have not seen even one episode of “The Americans.” “Homicide: Life on the Street” is finally streaming and worth the time. 👍🏼

I first heard it on an episode of “Homicide” on NBC when I was 17 or 18, where Pembleton is chasing a cop killer. Bought the record the next day. Still so good and ahead of its time.

I once knew someone who would sing along to Kate Bush’s part on “Games Without Frontiers” like so: “She’s… so funky, yay!”

It used to make me so mad. She thought those were the actual lyrics and wouldn’t listen to anyone who said otherwise.

“No Self Control” is also a favorite.
