Makes sense! I also saw you mentioned that “new creatives” changed Maul to Uber in 2013; who were these new creatives other than Abrams? (If you can answer) Also, was the Whills and midi-chlorians stuff scrapped at the same time as the Maul stuff or was that scrapped earlier (or later?)

If there was a Lucas/Arndt outline from mid October 2012 to early 2013, then a Kasdan/Kinberg meeting couldn’t have been the “beginning”, nor could it have even actually happened since Kasdan never saw the Lucas outlines. So I assume Arndt misremembered here?

This is the quote I meant. And oh interesting! So Arndt actually worked with George for a while? Does that mean he spent 4 months working on George’s outline before Abrams and Iger made him start fresh in 2013? If so, was he upset to learn all that work was seemingly a waste?

1. Cool! I also saw you mentioned reading an outline where Talon corrupted Han’s son. Since Arndt confirmed Han’s son going dark was his idea, I assume that outline was from a short period where they kept in Talon despite having already changed Maul to Uber/Snoke and scrapped most of Lucas’s stuff?
