After clarification, it turned out that as of November 2 there were only 39 Tu-95MS here, not 40.

The airbase housed 1 Tu-95MS (Bear-H), 4 Tu-160 (Blackjack), 1 Il-78M (Midas), and 2 Su-34 (Fullback).

In the image from 11:51 UTC, either an Il-76MD arrived, or the same Il-78M simply landed after joint training with a Tu-160.

On the morning of October 24, during nuclear exercises, two Tu-95MS and two Su-35S conducted training flights over the Sea of Okhotsk and the Sea of Japan.

After changing course to the northeast, F-15Js of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force scrambled to intercept near Japan’s airspace borders.
