Finished a commission for a friend's event recently. Posting today in honor of Trans Day of Remembrance. May the memories of those we've lost always be a blessing. The lives and memories of my trans siblings bless the world every day. More life.

Finished my fourth major arcana collage, "Death". The background is mostly scrap fabric, but the opossum itself is made of Edward Gorey calendar scraps, headstone advertisements, and photos from a Time/Life War Photography art book I found. 18x24 beastie. 4 down, 18 more to go. 🥲

Ended up going with no text on this "Garden Song" piece, we'll see if I love it enough to be my juried piece at Carnegie Art Spree this weekend, but I'm pretty pleased overall and I've missed collage while I've been adjusting to full-time day job again.
