Not sure whether having Brindley out there during overtime was a reward, a matchup thing, or, most likely, a little bit of both. No matter what it was, that goal incuded some gutsy coaching and that's what you need to be in order to win in this league. That's good hockey and sports stuff. #GoAvsGo

Big shout out to Jared Bednar who has consistently done things like this throughout his time here no matter who the player is. If you're playing well, no matter for how long, you get more meaningful ice time. He holds his players accountable for when they're struggling as well. (cont'd) #GoAvsGo

Gavin Brindley had the second least amount of ice time on the roster during the entire game last night with 11:01. He's not someone anyone expected to see out there during overtime, especially before some of the names listed above. (cont'd) #GoAvsGo
