Bush took us into the Iraq war and the war in Afghanistan. Not exactly peaceful times. Biden botched getting us out of Afghanistan ending in 13 soldiers dying from a suicide bomber. Then in a revenge drone strike he ended up killing an innocent family. You have a strange idea of disruptive.

I didn't say homeowner taxes were highest, I own a home, am familiar with prop 13 and the tax structure. I said it has one of the highest avg home prices. I did say it has the highest personal income tax rates and sales tax but never mentioned property tax.

Why doesn't California buy up all the unused property in PP and Eaton and convert them into affordable housing? I bet you could get some real bargains, especially from senior citizens who probably won't live long enough to rebuild considering how long you and local govt. are making them wait.

Tell me why Ivanpah is still open when everyone, utilities, govt., citizens wanted it closed? It's a boondoggle that kills thousands of birds and lots of endangered toads. Good job.

Freeways still a pain, and no more HOV access for zero emission vehicles with only 1 occupant. Also home prices slightly down in last year but not much. Here's a graph.

Biden definitely did things on a grand scale. Allowed 12 million or more unvetted illegal crossings into the US and destroyed most major cities by doing so. Excellent job Joe. Putin and Xi couldn't have done better if you let them.

Trump wants to tarnish an entire group of people for the crimes committed by a very small, maybe 1%, of that population. Its just a smear campaign against the Somalian community. How can you blame thousands of people for the crimes of 80 or so individuals? Disgraziad.

I've often thought about that and regularly go on the home sites to look at real estate. But I've lived here for 55 years and don't want to uproot my life at this stage. Plus I have a nice home in a great neighborhood and you can't beat the weather. All day 75 degrees. Beats snowstorms.

I think people are waking up to the fact that rounding up innocent immigrants, blowing up boats, going crazy with tariffs, ripping up the WH for a vanity project, giving pardons to drug lords and shysters, just isn't popular with the voters.

I try to find unbiased sources, but yes there are several biased sources which skew the "facts" to their point of view. My main thrust is to try and present different perspectives and not fall into the us vs them trap. I find I'm simpatico with posters. IE I can't ride my bike anymore, no balance
