I think the answer is no for most models. Haven't checked them all.

SDM only has 2 B&W Kobo models, maybe that's on Kobo. I read books that would be paperbacks normally, so don't care about the washed-out colour in other Kobos. Maybe that would work for you though.

Just discovered it's 20x Dec 26 & 27, in store and online (I think Kobo is online online at SDM now). Remember no returns so make sure it's the right model. :)

Yeah for audiobooks I play on my phone, great that I can borrow Epub from the (Canadian) public library, don't know why it won't play audiobooks from there.

You probably don't want to wait, but SDM (website) of all places can be a good place for a sale, if you catch one of their 20x [30%] PCOptimum weekends (then redeem the PCO at no frills). No returns with SDM.

Kobo if your library is Canadian. Not sure about read aloud, I always buy the cheap 6" model which actually fits in my baggy jeans pocket. My latest one will play audiobooks but only bought from Kobo store, not library or others (my phone is fine for that but would be nice to have in one place).

It doesn't seem so civil when it happens to you.

I believe they got what in the financial industry is called a dead-battery bounce.

The egg ration has been raised to 20g per week, shurely!?

Maybe they were going to whiz all over the fire, the way they're whizzing all over America.

A real audit would be tracking down that information. I believe the actual finding is merely that those people are in the database, not whether checks are being sent or not (haven't even seen claims that they're flagged in the DB as alive).

Canada: come for the eggs, stay for the flu shot. Most supermarkets (even the discounters like No Frills) have a pharmacy.

Yeah but their next step will be to take back the money that was paid out, by withdrawing from the recipients' accounts without permission. :(

No disrespect to the larger members of society, but "Doug Ford cheesecake" is not an appealing image.

I love the self-deprecating way MapQuest says "we have nothing better to do", having gone from the dominant map to one no one even remembers.

Have to go see if it's a decent replacement for Google Maps.

They could save money and just reuse the letters: "Don't believ" or splurge and buy a vowel, Pat.

Not a fan myself, but it could be they used that justification to avoid setting a precedent of policing (and thus taking responsibility for) what's sold. I support that approach as long as the site is down anyway.
